Over the last few years I've taught students in lots of different ways, but my favourite is always the longer courses where we meet regularly to share knowledge, ask questions and support each other.
We go on a journey together, from learning basic skills to creating the final garment.
We celebrate our wins together and share in the lessons we learn when things don't go to plan.
It's amazing to see everyone growing and bonding together, and it's always sad when the course ends.
I've dreamed about creating a space where we can continue that approach on a larger scale.

Hi! I'm Kate 👋
Professional pattern cutter, long time sewer and your new pattern cutting teacher.
With over 10 years of industry experience, I’ve been lucky enough to see my work on huge international stages.
I’m talking Royals, red carpets, catwalk shows, billboards and so much more!

If you're feeling pretty confident with your pattern cutting and want to push your skills to the next level then this is your place!
We'll focus on expanding your skills and experimenting with new techniques.
Think more complicated garments, through in depth and specialist projects with detailed and advanced fitting solutions.

FAQs
Is the membership beginner friendly?
Absolutely! Level 1 is designed for beginners and novice pattern cutters, and level 2 is designed for people who have more experience.
How long do I have access to the membership courses?
You have full access to everything in your level as long as you are a member. When your membership ends, so does your access to the courses.
Will I learn how to fit and adjust patterns in this memberhsip?
There are two courses that have modules focusing on fit:
- Draft & Fit A Bodice
- Draft & Fit Trousers
Both of these are centred around fitting your block, but the fitting ideas and techniques are applicable to all bodices, dresses and trousers.
Can I ask questions and get help?
Yes! You have dedicated live Q&A calls for both levels once a month.
If you need help quicker then you can ask questions in the chat or email me!
Can I cancel at any time?
If you're signed up monthly then you can cancel anytime. Your cancellation takes effect from your next billing date.
Annual memberships are a 12 month commitment. You can cancel, but it will take effect from your next billing date.
I can't make the live sessions, are they recorded?
Yes! Every live session is recorded and a list of the questions covered will be posted with it. Easy to search through past sessions!
